well, it's been another while or so since last I properly put my head in this little bucket, so hello to all who might still be listening! Some kind soul since then has put me on a subscription, so a big helping of ta to whomever might be concerned, very handy too as I can't seem to re-sign in at the moment as the requirement seems to be for renewing it myself, dunno what that's about... Ah well, anyway - to whom that was, very muchly thanks
Meanwhile, been tooo damn busy as usual to do any of the stuff I'd properly prefer to be doing, still having to stick to the proper job for the time being with the ever hopeful hope of turning a living at sculpty stuff; all got a bit much a few weeks back while working on three jobs at once and I got shouty with the boss, clients fussing over the due date on a model after they'd pissed away nearly two weeks on decisions about what font to use for model-labels, and what colour to have them expressed in (!) Boss asked me what to tell them about the delay and I told him I'd write 'em a @!*?! letter if that would do. He didn't come in the next day and just left me to get on with it. I don't lose my rag very often, so I think I scared him a bit, hehe
Nothing much especially newsworthy just lately...hmm, though the first of the Cthulhu Wars figures are starting to be released by Fenris Games, I think Cthulhu himself has just come online for ordering. The actual game is due to start shipping out in August, hopefully the kickstarter backers will all be happyfied - and in theory then thereafter, we're due to start on figures for another KS by the same Green Eye Games crew, once all of the Cthulhu Wars stuff is over n' done with - so even more stuff to fit into unavailable time, arg... Meanwhile hope all's well for all out there - a multitude of ta's and thanks-es to the many who've nipped in to fave and watch and such, I hope you'll accept my usual lame excuses for time constraints about not being able to say so to each of you persionally, I know it's a cop-out and I hate doing it, but such are the ravages of the old ticky-tock dictator :/ eh well, better get to it...

Arousing the Goddess - thirty years in the waking
Sorry if you thought this was going to be a bit saucy - not that kind of arousal, I'm afraid: and for the moment, I'm gonna let you stew on that for a bit and come back to it later.
Meanwhile - I'm currently in the process of making the last edits on a book. It's taken maybe thirty years to have got around to it, if not more. Sort of: no excuses really, just lots and lots of procrastination.
- anyway. It's kind of a collaborative effort: its content is drawn together from several sources, and in a way from several 'authors'. I'd better explain...
I started actually putting things together some five years or so ago, doing bits and pieces in my
waresy binthen
hoblumminhum - seem to be carrying on with what appears to be the beginning of a tradition of nipping in once every wheneverish and dropping a few notes in the note-hole, and not really keeping up with much in the way of anything else...seems to be the way it is though unfortunately, work's busy, spare time pretty much the same, and doesn't help that I've restricted it even further by trying to write a blinkin' book in the spare bits of spareness - more about that in another post in a moment or so... anyway meanwhile just wanted to say a whole bunch of thanks-es to the many folks who keep on keeping up with what I'm up to, and keep faving, co
older, no wiser.
- and, to be fair, don't especialy feel older, either.
Still, the days and months thus done and dusted have allowed for the finishing of the first draft of the long-promised first book of however many there might be, and for several re-reads and revisions since. I'm hoping to polish off the last of many proof-reads this weekend and finally start loading it up to the selfpub, I reckon it's about ok and about as good as it's gonna be for a first outing into the world of words on wyrdworld. It's been a fair old stretch of road in getting it there, going on four years of fitting bits into lunch-breaks and the odd hour or so of 'spare' time wher
Cthulhu Wars Roars
- well, somewhat belatedly after the finish-date of the funding process, a quick blurb on the CW kickstarter: it was successful, to say the least - the Green Eye Games folks were hoping to raise $40,000 to produce a prototype of their game, with which to approach all and sundry to try and draw on further funding for full production of the game.
What actually happened was that the $40,000 was achieved somewhere within the first couple of hours of going live, and it just kept going madly onwards from there, to the astonishment of everyone involved. Certainly none of the GEG crew were expecting to achieve the $1,403,981 that was raised by the
