Step aside, Buffy Summers, ther's a new slayer in town... ( - apologies in advance to all those who are really into vamps in all their vampness - no offences intended)

- Hardbark the Aardvark, vampire-hunter: you can just about see the buckle-end of a bandolier of stakes hanging over his right shoulder (I coloured out the stake that was showing, as from the angle it just looked like he had some weird spike growing out the side of his nut), accounting for his more traditional forms of vampire-slaughter: he tends to prefer that axe though, just the right thing for some nice neat beheadings...

- well okay, not that neat; the surfboard doubles as a handy anti-bite-shield - short of garlic and crucifixes, there's nowt puts a vamp off so much as the prospect of getting their fangs full of fibreglass; the surfing thing is also a big relief from the night's work for Hardbark, plus it's well away from the world of darkness - them vamps can't stand the sun of course for one thing, but they really don't dig beaches either - they can't abide it when the sand gets into the frilly bits of them posh shirts they wear with their fancy dinner-jackets, or into them flouncy nighties they're always faffing about in...

Bizarre. Nonsensical. I LOVE IT. Next time vampires attack, I'll be sure to have Hardbark in my party.

Oh yeah! This is a character I could get into!! He is fun and trouble :) Nice detail.

I hope you don't mind, I included this as a feature in my journal. [link] My motives is to create connections in the DA community and create a unique story format. If there any concerns I will remove this ASAP, but honestly, it's meant as flattery. I really review and choose my features carefully. Enjoy-

- not at all, thanks for the includery - sorry to have taken... hmm, a whole month (!) to get around to saying so, somehow don't seem to have had time to fit in any deviating for a while or two. Anyway, glad you liked the 'vark malarkey, cheers for that :)
